Daniel Scott, President
Barry Connors, Sr. Vice President
Barry has been providing effective recruitment and search processes to organizations of all sizes in the manufacturing/engineering sector for over 20 years. He has a strong passion for finding individuals who truly excel and demonstrate leadership and talents that set them apart. He prides himself on locating talented individuals that client’s would not otherwise be able to capture.
Barry started his recruiting career in 1987 working predominately in the manufacturing sector specifically on production and engineering roles. After 8 years industry experience, he became a co-owner of the firm Connors Lovell & Associates Inc. and built a team of 23 recruiting specialists, focusing on various disciplines in manufacturing spread out over three offices.
Barry’s current focus is on mid – senior level management positions specializing in business expertise; consumer packaged goods, food, various wood, metal and plastic processes, machine building, automation and engineering consulting.
In October of 2008, he joined HRG Management in Waterloo, and continues to exceed client’s expectations in finding exceptional talent. As Senior Vice President, Barry leads a team of professional recruiters and business developers over 4 offices throughout Canada, each with specialized areas of expertise to meet HRG’s expansive client base.
Fran Fisher CHRP, Vice President of Managed Services
Fran has a proven track record providing leadership and implementing best practices in human resource management and brings this expertise to HRG clients. During her 20 years in the manufacturing and automation industries, Fran earned a reputation for developing and implementing successful programs and processes to improve the performance and efficiency of employees within organizations.
Fran joined HRG in 2012, and leads our team of HR Professionals for the HRO business. She possesses extensive knowledge of HR practices in both Canada and the US and has proven abilities in performance management. Her strengths include the ability to influence and build consensus, engaging others and leading the process required to achieve targeted results.
Fran has strong ties within her community through her many associations and volunteer activities. She is currently a Member of the Program Advisory Committee for the Human Resource Post Graduate Program at Conestoga College; a past member of the Board of Directors for Saint Monica House; and is the current President of the Zonta Club of Kitchener-Waterloo. (Zonta is a global organization of executives and professionals working to advance the status of women worldwide through service and advocacy.)
